File a Form 1-U

Create a Regulation A Tier 2 current report from item summaries, review the AI-drafted disclosures, and obtain counsel sign-off.

Current report and deadline

Form 1-U reports specified material events for a Regulation A Tier 2 issuer. It is due 4 business days after the triggering event, with the deadline computed in ET.

Select items and create the filing

Select the Form 1-U items that apply and provide a short summary of the event for each. TakePublic uses the event date to track the deadline that falls 4 business days later on the Compliance calendar.

  1. Open Filings and create a Form 1-U.
  2. Confirm the triggering event date and the deadline shown in ET.
  3. Select each applicable item and write a short event summary.
  4. Add supporting records and create the draft.

Review the grounded draft

AI drafts each item disclosure from your intake summaries and supporting records. Review every disclosure against those sources before moving the filing forward.

Review and sign-off

A 1-U skips auditor review unless your company chooses to involve its auditor. The AI draft moves through internal review and counsel review.

  1. Complete internal review.
  2. Send the filing to counsel review.
  3. Have a licensed securities attorney sign off on the exact document.

Export or file through a supported path

After counsel signs, export the completed filing or use a filing path supported for Form 1-U. Live EDGAR submission is not currently enabled for Form 1-U.
