How TakePublic is different

Broadridge provides shareholder communications, proxy and regulatory filing services, often for proxy season. TakePublic drafts, reviews and files the recurring SEC forms; it is not a shareholder-communications or proxy-distribution network.

Frequently asked questions

Is TakePublic a Broadridge replacement?

For recurring SEC reporting and filing with counsel in the workflow, it is an alternative operating model. Shareholder communications and proxy distribution at scale remain Broadridge's category.

Do I still need an EDGAR filing agent?

On Core you can file through TakePublic after counsel sign-off, or export to your own agent. On Monitor your existing agent continues to file while TakePublic runs the calendar.

Does TakePublic handle proxy statements?

Yes, the statement itself. For proxy season, Core drafts the proxy statement, tags pay versus performance, gets counsel's sign-off and prepares the package for your agent; distribution goes to your Broadridge or Mediant campaign with the meeting facts in their format; TakePublic never mails or tabulates. The Company calendar tracks the DEF 14A and Part III dates in ET and marks them satisfied when the statement reaches EDGAR.

Can we use TakePublic alongside Broadridge?

Yes. Broadridge stays your distributor: TakePublic hands your Broadridge campaign the counsel-signed proxy package with a campaign sheet in Broadridge's own field order (record and meeting dates, class, distribution model, CUSIP, postage, USPS Mailer ID), records the delivery and the confirmation you paste back, and puts Broadridge's cut-offs on the Company calendar. Broadridge keeps production, mailing and tabulation. Start on Monitor if you are mid-contract elsewhere.

TakePublic is a technology platform, not a law firm, broker-dealer, or auditor. Forms 3, 4 and 5 prepared in TakePublic file only after the reviewer the company designates, such as its securities counsel, signs off; any other filing prepared in TakePublic files only after a licensed securities attorney signs off.
