One list for every firm seat

Counsel and preparers land on Needs you: the reports waiting on you across every client, soonest due first.

It covers every client you reach, directly or through your firm, with due dates in ET. Waiting on you holds the reports whose next act is yours; Your firm is reviewing, those a colleague signs off, which do not count toward the Needs you number; Coming up, forms that name you but are not yet sent to you.

While your bar number and state are not on your account, one line at the top asks for them, and Add bar number opens Settings; entered once, they fill in every sign-off. The line leaves once they are on file.

The line asks only when you sign off at a client on Section 16; when every client is on Monitor, one line says what you do there instead. With nothing listed, the page says what reaches you: drafts if you prepare, forms a colleague signs off if you read, and how clients are assigned if you have none.

• Counsel: every report in counsel review, with who sent it and when. Review opens the filing; you sign off from its step card after reading the form.
• Preparers: drafts counsel sent back with the request, and drafts due within 14 days. Fix and resend opens a draft counsel sent back, Finish draft any other. The company sends every filing; a preparer drafts.

Clients and Firm

Clients is the portfolio, with health, next deadline and next task per client, and Firm holds the roster, titles, invitations and engagements. Opening a client lands on its Overview: what waits on you there and the reports in progress.
