Practice workspace

Your cross-client portfolio at /practice: health, deadlines, review signals, and quick access to each company.

Practice: client portfolio
The Practice screen with a client portfolio table showing role, health grade, next deadline, and signals for each company
The Practice portfolio sorts by risk: stalled clients first, then nearest deadlines, then review backlog. Signals flag items awaiting your review and open PBC requests.

Who sees Practice

The Practice page is for professionals serving multiple companies. Auditors and counsel see it in the sidebar; platform admin can open it as well. Company admins and company users work inside a single tenant and do not use this view.

What the portfolio table shows

Each row is a client where you hold an auditor or counsel seat, whether directly or through your firm. Columns include your role on that workspace, compliance health score and letter grade, the next open calendar deadline, and signal badges for filings awaiting your review, open PBC requests (auditors only), and stalled clients.

  • Health: the same 0 to 100 score and A through F grade as the company dashboard.
  • Next deadline: the nearest unsatisfied obligation, with days remaining or past due labeled in ET.
  • Awaiting review: filings in counsel_review or auditor_review that match your role on that client.
  • Open PBC: open document requests on filings you audit at that company.
  • Stalled: you have filings waiting and the next deadline is within ten days.

How rows are ordered

Clients sort by risk, not alphabetically. Stalled companies rise to the top, then those with the nearest or most overdue deadlines, then those with more filings awaiting your review or open PBC items, with lower health scores breaking ties. Use the filter box when you serve many clients.

Open a client workspace

TakePublic updates your session to that tenant and your seat role there, auditor or counsel, so the sidebar and permissions match the company you picked.

  1. Select a client row or Open to switch company context and land on that client's Filings page.

Queues and referrals from Practice

Below the portfolio, Refer a client starts the referral flow for a new company. Counsel see a Counsel queue shortcut; auditors see an Auditor queue shortcut. Those links open the cross-client worklists described in the counsel and auditor queues article.
