Group colleagues under a law or audit firm, share client engagements, and manage firm membership.
You become the firm admin. Firms are free: they are how professionals serve paying clients, not a separate billable product.
Each person can belong to only one firm because firm-derived access would otherwise be ambiguous.
Each invite is a single-use link at /firm-invite that expires after seven days.
TakePublic is a technology platform, not a law firm; your professional duties to clients stay with you and your firm.
When your firm holds an active engagement on a client, every firm member inherits that seat: counsel for a law firm, auditor for an audit firm. Explicit individual memberships on the same tenant still win if you hold both, so your role never conflicts. Colleagues reach the client through the firm without a separate company invite.
If you already serve a client on an individual auditor or counsel seat (not through a firm), and your firm type matches that role, Practice shows Add to [firm name] on that row. Any firm member can adopt; the action creates a firm engagement so colleagues inherit the seat while you keep your individual membership.
Firm admins end client engagements from the Client engagements list on Practice. Ending an engagement removes firm-derived access for all colleagues; professionals who also hold a direct company invite keep that seat. Firm admins invite and remove members, but cannot remove the last firm admin without promoting someone else first.
