Audit trail

Append-only, hash-chained log of material actions.

Audit trail
The audit trail screen listing timestamped events with actor and hash columns, described as append only and hash chained
The audit trail: every state change with its actor, timestamp (ET), and chain hash. Rows are append only and can never be edited or deleted.

What is logged

Every filing transition, sign-off, content edit, integration sync, and admin action writes to the audit_events table. The log is append-only: rows are never updated or deleted.

Hash chain

Each event includes a hash of the prior event, forming a chain you can verify. Export your audit history when you need a compliance record outside the app.

The Audit page lists live events as they happen: time in ET, event type, summary, actor, and hash.

  1. Filter by event category or search by event type, summary, or actor email.
  2. Select Load more to paginate through older history.
Note

Filters apply to loaded events, so load more before searching deep into the past.

Retention

Filing records and audit events are retained to support the compliance record they document, even after account closure, subject to legal obligations.
