Documents and evidence

The Documents page, EDGAR sync, and the post-sign-off evidence binder.

Documents
The documents screen listing filed documents and EDGAR submissions with accession numbers and lock icons
Documents keeps filed output and synced EDGAR submissions as immutable evidence, searchable by title or accession number.

Documents page

The Documents page stores filed submissions as immutable evidence. Each row shows the title, document kind, created timestamp in ET, and EDGAR accession number.

When your company CIK is set, accession numbers link to the SEC filing index.

  1. Search by title or accession, or filter by document kind.

EDGAR sync

TakePublic syncs filed submissions from SEC EDGAR and shows the last sync timestamp at the top of the page. Documents indexed from EDGAR and those filed through TakePublic live in one searchable vault.

Evidence binder

After counsel sign-off, the Filing workspace offers an Evidence binder button, also available while submitted, filed, or accepted. It opens a self-contained HTML record you can save or print.

The binder includes filing metadata, the counsel sign-off record, and the full hash-chained audit trail for the filing.

Retention use case

Together, the Documents page and evidence binder are the evidence vault referenced in product plans: filed submissions stay locked with accession links, and the binder packages the sign-off and audit trail for each filing in one place.
