Other providers
Your transfer agent, EDGAR agent, proxy distributor and other providers on the Firms ledger, with no seat.
Where: Settings › People › Firms › Other providers
What to do
Keep your transfer agent, EDGAR agent, proxy distributor and other providers as records under Other providers on Settings › People › Firms; a record gives no workspace access.
- Select Add a provider, choose the kind, and enter the name, contact, email, phone and notes. An auditor record also takes the PCAOB Firm ID and report location.
- The record is listed with the No seat chip until its contact holds a seat.
When your own 10-K names a transfer agent or an audit firm, the page offers to add it (Add as transfer agent), and the record shows which filing each fact came from.
More detail
A legal record's contact can be invited as counsel from its menu, and an auditor record's contact as auditor once auditor access opens with Core. Once the contact holds a seat or an invitation, the record and the seat are one row.
Why keep them here
The people who file, distribute and keep your register are the ones a deadline or a proxy handoff names, so whoever is on duty finds the right contact without asking. A record with history is archived, never deleted, and Restore brings it back.

TakePublic is a technology platform, not a law firm, broker-dealer, or auditor. Forms 3, 4 and 5 prepared in TakePublic file only after the reviewer the company designates, such as its securities counsel, signs off; any other filing prepared in TakePublic files only after a licensed securities attorney signs off.
