Claimed tickers and verified workspaces
What it means when your company already has a verified TakePublic workspace.
What a verified workspace means
A workspace is verified by an Active EDGAR Next delegation to TakePublic on a filing plan, or by one of the Ways to verify in Settings › Company, each of which ties it to the real issuer.
Paying for a plan never verifies a workspace by itself. Verification is about identity, not billing.
If your company's ticker is already claimed
The Plan step's warning means a verified workspace for your company already exists. It does not stop checkout, but one workspace with everyone in it beats two with split calendars and rosters, so ask your team there for an invitation.
One paid workspace per company
Checkout refuses a company that already has an open, paid workspace on TakePublic, whether or not that workspace is verified. The Plan step names the workspace and its admin, nothing is charged, and a seat from that admin is the way in.
A closed workspace frees the company: after TakePublic closes it at a company admin's request, a new sign-up can buy a plan for the same CIK.
If the claim looks wrong
If you believe nobody at your company created that workspace, message us from the help widget before you buy. We review the verification and follow up directly.

TakePublic is a technology platform, not a law firm, broker-dealer, or auditor. Forms 3, 4 and 5 prepared in TakePublic file only after the reviewer the company designates, such as its securities counsel, signs off; any other filing prepared in TakePublic files only after a licensed securities attorney signs off.
